Apple announced yesterday that TestFlight (acquired from Burstly earlier this year), is available as an Apple service. It’s a nice surprise when a tool/application comes back to see the light of day after an acquisition.
For those of us who have worked on a project of significant size, across a range of organizations (external companies), with hundreds of users, this looks very promising:
Once you’re ready, you can invite up to 1,000 users who are not part of your development organization to beta test an app that you intend for public release on the App Store.
TestFlight can automatically notify users of app updates and also includes support for users to provide feedback.
