In place of the traditional swipe on a table cell, the open source project TISwipeableTableView will reveal content that appears to the user as if it is under the cell.
The screenshot below is from the demo included in the project. Trust me, it doesn’t do the effect justice, however, you get the idea – when swiping on a cell the app shows a UIButton (which recognizes taps, of course) in place of the cell.
