Always one for an interesting transition effect, this was a good find – XYOrigami. Created by XY Feng, this transition displays a smooth, vertical, folding paper effect. Have a look at the video to see this transition in action:

XYOrigami is implemented as a category of the UIView object. The number of folds and direction are easily set. The code also supports ARC (Automatic Reference Counting).
