After a few months in the works it’s finally time to share the news about my latest venture, MacDevWeekly.com.
MacDevWeekly is a free, weekly email newsletter for any developer who works on a Mac, be it coding Mac or iOS apps, designing and/or developing websites, working on Mac servers, even non-developers who consider themselves techies.
Before the newsletter publishing begins I set two goals:
- Reach 3333 subscribers before publishing the first issue.
- Reach 10,000 subscribers and give away a bunch of Mac-centric software/hardware/books.
As of Thursday morning, September 19th, there were 2713 subscribers, just over 600 away from the first issue being published.
You can track the latest subscriber count as well as latest list of Mac sw/hw/media to be given away on Mac Dev Weekly (I continue to add new Sponsors, so check back often).
To give you a feel for the content, you can preview the beta newsletter.
Below is a list of the Sponsors (to date) who have donated software, hardware and Mac/iOS related books (many thanks to their generous donations!)
Request For Your Help
With your help, I think we can reach the 600 subscriber mark by the end of this week (Sunday). Please share the news of this post via Twitter or your favorite social network. If we hit 3333 subscribers by Sunday, September 22nd, I’ll commit to sending the first issue on Monday the 23rd (and every Monday thereafter).
Also, please consider subscribing to Mac Dev Weekly by entering your email in the registration form in the right-sidebar.
