In the past creating links for use within your app or website (to point to an app) was a tedious process. I recently bumped into Link Maker, which offers a simple UI to search for content, including apps, music, books, etc and output the relevant html to point to the content.
The screenshots below show a few variations of the search content as displayed from within Link Maker:
The above is helpful to add a simple link to the App Store, including the “Available on the App Store” image.
If you need a standard html text based linked, choose the Text Only option as shown below:
In a future post I’ll show another way Link Maker can be your friend, to look up an application id when implementing Smart App Banners in iOS 6.
