Live cam viewing two Osprey, bird of prey

Not far down the road the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to document two osprey as they go about nesting on two eggs.

The osprey is a large raptor, often known as the “fish hawk.” This nest pole was erected in 2001 in response to ospreys attempting to build a nest on an electric line … Both osprey worked together to create the nest, with the male bringing in up to 4’ long branches, and the female inter-weaving with other sticks in the nest … The family diet is 99% fish, with the rest either reptiles, crustaceans and even other birds. When the chicks are 10 days old, they are already mobile and eat 1-3 lbs. of food per day.
